Focus on what you want more than what you do not want
Replace the darkened heart with a green one
Invite everyone to the fall farmhouse dinner
Replace acting through ego with honoring all

Demons exist but they do not have to be in charge of life
Call on your friends across and of the sea
Hooded crow clears away hate and fear
Triple spiral and broom plant shift us

The next 24 hours matter the most
This statement is true at any point in time
Visions, invisible to some, restore inspiration
Call on your asanas to navigate swells and rain

Focus on the keys
    They are truth tellers
        Do not over examine
Send out what you want in return

Sapling

Yesterday I heard someone say "I howl at the wrong times". I thought, "I'm glad she does. Otherwise, there is too much karmic debt floating around."

The red-tailed hawk feather was a good omen. It inspired me to draw a vase that can hold all the flowers in the world. Every sunflower, tulip, snapdragon, and so on.

There is no need to feed the darkness. If you want to turn fear into hope, plant a sapling.

We are moving back into an egalitarian era. The hungry ghosts and blue beards will need to find their way. We are moving into an era of less politics and a lot more unforced generosity. I will write more about this later.

You are part of this galaxy. You are part of this healing. You are part of this rhythm. You are part of this transition.

How To Make a Vase

  1. Drink Trader Joe’s sparkling apple cider vinegar (strawberry and basil flavored).
  2. Rinse bottle out with water.
  3. Draw a wycinanki design. Color.
  4. Draw yourself doing a yoga pose (such as tree pose). Include energy colors and shape shifting as desired (such as growing caribou antlers in place of arms). Color.
  5. Tape above drawings onto bottle.
  6. Walk outside to see which flowers want to live in vase. Cut two huneysuckle flowers. Place in vase.
  7. Add water.
  8. Place vase next to Ganesha.

Turning the Wheel

Spin the wheel
See what you’ve won!

Matrix cleansing
Layers of shedding
Compost into a field of tiger lilies

Turn the prayer wheel
See what we’ve always won, folks!

Exiting
Testosterone lined chairs
Up in flames
Exiled

Moving on

The other day Alice told me: Female spirit energy will never cease to exist. Even if the sun burns out, we will still feel her presence.

Sea squirt, star fish, fur seal
Water love
Flowing in their soul patterns of life

Caribou Branches

Antlers sprout
Blood circulates
Lungs gently fill with sub-alpine fir and grey alder air
Exhale merges with wind Winds through lodge-pole pine forests
To human cities starving for a caribou bath

Patient Ogilvie mountains watch
Caribou drinks from Porcupine River
Soft lines of energy travel
Yukon bows to accept tributary gift
Journey of fast ice
Splashes into Bering Sea
Greets Pacific halibut
King and opilio crab pots sink
Catch, honor, feast

Caribou branches spread
Feel their way
Into the fascia of the earth
Vibrating in our web of voices

To the Tuatha Dé Danann

Tuatha Dé Danann, A Chara,

I have not been to Brú na Bóinne yet. I plan to go there this year. You might be surprised to know that I do not want to know how the structures were built. I do not want to know what tools were used to carve the spirals in those rocks and kerbstones. What I do want to know is what you chanted as you carved the spirals, what prayers you sent out to your deities and the world.

What does it feel like to once have lived and walked on the earth and taken the mist air into your lungs and now live as non-humans, as part of the energy of Ireland’s rocks, soil, and tree roots? Since you now weave your energy through the underworld and earth elements, do you travel inside the kerbstone, look at a spiral you once created, and now see it facing the other direction? Sunwise for me, moonwise for you? Has the meaning changed for you? Is your underworld a parallel realm or dimension, or are you literally in and part of the earth?

People nowadays have varying theories on what the spirals mean. Here are mine at the moment:
– Sunwise rotating spiral: Birthing, creating, growing — what energy is going towards
– Moonwise rotating spiral: Dying, falling away, letting go — what is coming to an end
– Triple spiral (triskele): Birth, Life, Death

I touch a rock, we connect. I step onto the earth, we connect. I see a raindrop fall into the grateful mouth of a plant, we connect.

Bennacht,

Seann Terrance Sweeney
